When choosing this option, you first need to create an account on the VMware website and download the necessary software from there. When you create an account, you will be asked to provide your name, address and phone number. VMware offers convenient options for running Windows on a Mac, including tutorials. Once you've subscribed, you'll need to activate it using the information VMware will send you via email. Then you can download the 30-day free version. (The full-featured version of VMware Fusion costs $50) Open the disk image and start the installation.
After starting the program, a question will appear on the screen, whether you are ready to provide anonymous data for statistics. Your VMware account contains a trial license key. Click OK and you will be taken to the Virtual Machine Library. Click the Create New button. VMware software will ask you which drive you are installing from. VMware recognizes the operating system as Windows, but suggests choosing XP. You can change this option to the closest available version (in our case, it is Windows 8). By default, VMware allocates 1GB of RAM to the virtual machine, but I decided to specify 2GB, the recommended minimum for Windows 8. Select Customize Settings, and VMware will ask you to save the file first. In the Processors and Memory section, increase the amount of RAM to 2 GB.

It is possible that the VMware configuration parameters set by default make sense to change, especially when it comes to the RAM allocated to the virtual machine.
